YUSH Electronic Technology Co., Ltd. introduces the YSVC-650 Series PCB Router Depaneling Machine, a stand-alone automatic routing solution designed for fast, accurate, and low-stress PCB separation. Equipped with a high-speed CCD vision system, advanced image-processing software, precision servo drives, and a high-speed spindle, the YSVC-650 series provides accurate routing while helping protect PCBs and components from mechanical stress. What Is the YSVC-650 PCB Router? The YSVC-650 A / B / C series are stand-alone PCB routers equipped with a CCD camera and sophisticated image-processing software. The machine uses a high-speed router bit to precisely cut PCB panels along programmed routing paths. Cutting paths can be positioned as close as 0.5 mm to components, making the system suitable for densely populated PCBs where conventional mechanical separation methods may create excessive stress. The CCD camera captures the PCB image and enables operators to program cutting paths through a simple point-and-click Windows-based interface. This reduces programming time and makes product changeover more convenient. Who Is This Machine For? The YSVC-650 is designed for electronics manufacturers that require accurate and repeatable PCB depanelization. It is particularly suitable for: PCB and PCBA manufacturers Electronics assembly factories High-density PCB production Mobile phone and electronic module production GPS and PDA-related PCB applications Manufacturers requiring low-stress PCB separation Production environments requiring automatic PCB loading and unloading Factories looking to reduce manual depanelization operations The machine is especially useful when PCB designs contain densely populated components or require more complex routing shapes. What PCB Types Can It Process? According to the standard specifications, the YSVC-650 series can process PCB materials including: Glass Epoxy CEM1 CEM3 FR4 Other compatible PCB materials according to application requirements The standard maximum PCB thickness is 2 mm, with an optional configuration supporting PCB thicknesses up to 6 mm. Router bit diameters range from 0.8 to 3.0 mm, allowing different cutting requirements to be accommodated. The machine supports multiple cutting functions, including: Linear cutting Circular cutting U-curve cutting Arc cutting L-curve cutting This flexibility allows manufacturers to process different PCB outlines and routing patterns on the same platform. What Production Problem Does It Solve? Manual PCB depanelization can become difficult when production volumes increase or when PCB designs become smaller and more complicated. The YSVC-650 addresses several common production challenges: 1. Reducing Mechanical Stress The router-based cutting process separates PCBs without applying the same type of mechanical force associated with manual breaking or other mechanical separation methods. The high-speed router bit is designed for precise cutting of densely populated PCBs, while maintaining a low-stress depanelization process. 2. Improving Cutting Accuracy The system uses CCD vision for automatic alignment compensation. The camera reads PCB fiducial marks and compensates for positional variations between the PCB and programmed cutting paths. The specified cutting accuracy and repeatability are both ±0.01 mm. 3. Simplifying Programming Instead of manually defining every cutting coordinate, operators can use the CCD camera and image-processing software to capture the PCB image and program routing paths through a point-and-click interface. The system can also display the cutting pattern, cutting sequence, and X/Y coordinates in real time. Programs can be saved as Windows files and transferred to other compatible routers using a USB drive. 4. Reducing Tool Replacement Costs The YSVC-650 features automatic five-stage depth adjustment, which is designed to extend router bit life and reduce replacement time and cost. How Does It Compare With Manual Depaneling? Manual depanelization may be suitable for very small production volumes or simple PCB structures. However, as production requirements become more demanding, automation can provide greater consistency and process control. Production Factor Manual Depaneling YSVC-650 PCB Router Cutting method Manual operation Automatic routing Cutting accuracy Operator dependent Up to ±0.01 mm specified Alignment Manual CCD automatic alignment compensation Complex routing Limited Linear, circular, U-curve, arc and L-curve Production consistency Operator dependent Programmable and repeatable PCB loading/unloading Manual Automatic Program management Manual setup Windows-based program storage and transfer Production data integration Limited Optional MES/Industrial 4.0 functions The YSVC-650 is therefore designed to move PCB depanelization from a labor-dependent process toward a more controlled and programmable production operation. What Production Capacity Can It Support? The YSVC-650 is designed for precision and high-capacity PCB routing operations, with a high-speed X-Y robot and Z-axis servo motor helping reduce tact time and improve productivity. The series offers three routing-area configurations: YSVC-650A: 300 * 350 mm YSVC-650B: 300 * 450 mm YSVC-650C: 500 * 450 mm The X/Y cutting speed is specified at 0–100 mm/s, while the spindle can reach a maximum speed of 60,000 rpm. Actual production throughput depends on PCB size, cutting-path length, PCB material, thickness, routing pattern, and production program. Therefore, YUSH recommends evaluating the customer's actual PCB drawing and production requirements before determining the expected cycle time and capacity. Intelligent Vision and Production Management Beyond basic routing, the YSVC-650 series can be configured with additional intelligent functions. CCD Full-Board Scanning The CCD system can scan the PCBA and display the cutting path in real time, helping reduce programming time and simplify path modification. 2D Code Program Retrieval With the appropriate configuration, a two-dimensional code can be used to automatically retrieve the corresponding cutting program, helping simplify product changeover and reduce manual program selection errors. MES / Industry 4.0 Integration For factories requiring production traceability and centralized equipment management, the system can support Industrial 4.0 / MES functions, including: Automatic retrieval of server data Uploading machine and production data Real-time equipment status monitoring These functions can help integrate the depaneling process into a more connected manufacturing environment. The SMT wave soldering process
The SMT wave soldering process mainly consists of three stages: preheating, wave soldering and cooling. The specific process includes key steps such as fixture installation, soldering agent application, and double-wave soldering. SMT wave soldering is a key process in surface mount technology (SMT) used for welding surface-mounted components (THT) or mixed-assembly circuit boards. Its core lies in achieving batch welding through the wave of molten solder. The main process is as follows: 1‌.Fixture installation‌.Fix the printed board with components installed on it on a dedicated fixture to prevent the substrate from deforming due to heat and prevent solder spatter, ensuring welding stability.‌‌ ‌2.Spraying flux‌.Uniformly apply flux to remove oxides on the surface of the pads and component pins to prevent secondary oxidation during the welding process. The type of flux needs to be selected based on the PCB material and component density.‌ 3.Preheating. Temperature control: The preheating temperature is usually 90 to 130℃. For multi-layer boards or high-density surface mount boards, the upper limit (115 to 125℃) should be adopted. Function: Activates the flux, reduces thermal shock, and prevents tin splashing during welding due to solvent evaporation. 4.Wave soldering. Double peak structure: The first peak (disordered wave) ensures that the solder fully penetrates the solder joints, while the second peak (wide flat wave) eliminates bridging and tip pulling defects. Parameter Settings: The temperature of the soldering furnace is usually 245 ± 5℃, and the welding time is 3 to 5 seconds. If it lasts too long, it may damage the substrate. 5.Cooling.Quick cooling is used to enhance the strength of solder joints, usually through air cooling or water cooling methods. The cooling rate must be controlled to avoid thermal stress cracks. Process Variants and Optimization 1.Slope Peak Soldering: The conveying guide rail is designed in a slope shape, which prolongs the immersion time of the solder joints, improves efficiency and reduces air entrapment at the solder joints. 2.High Peak Soldering: Suitable for long-leg surface mount welding processes. Used in conjunction with a foot-cutting machine, the nozzle height can be adjusted. 3.Online process: Integrates post-processing steps such as cutting and cleaning, suitable for automated production lines.
